What is led:

LED is the abbreviation of light emitting diode. It is a solid-state semiconductor device, which can directly convert electricity into light. The heart of LED is a semiconductor chip. One end of the chip is attached to a bracket, one end is the negative electrode, and the other end is connected to the positive electrode of the power supply, so that the whole chip is encapsulated by epoxy resin. The semiconductor wafer is composed of two parts. One part is a p-type semiconductor, in which holes are dominant, and the other end is an n-type semiconductor, in which electrons are mainly. But when these two semiconductors are connected, a "p-n junction" is formed between them.

When the current acts on the wafer through the wire, the electrons will be pushed to the P-region, where the electrons and holes recombine and then emit energy in the form of photons. This is the principle of LED lighting. The wavelength of light, that is, the color of light, is determined by the material forming the p-n junction.

3. Long life: under normal conditions, the service life of LED lamp beads can reach 100000 hours, which is the same as that of incandescent lamps. The service life of LED lamps is 5-100 times that of ordinary lighting sources.

The different colors of LEDs are determined by the chips with different wavelengths. For example, the general wavelength of red chips is 620 ~ 630nm (nm), the general wavelength of green chips is 527nm, the general wavelength of blue chips is 470nm, the general wavelength of yellow chips is 585nm, and the white LEDs are also blue chips. Only adding an appropriate amount of phosphor to the blue chips will emit white light.

If there is no need to consider the failure of driving and power supply, one manifestation of the life of high-power LED line lamps is "light decay", which means that the longer the use time, the lower the brightness, until the life is exhausted.

LED line lamps usually use aluminum as the radiator. The larger the contact area between the radiator and the air, the better. This is conducive to heat dissipation, stable operation of the whole lamp, small light loss and long life; The bulb and ceiling spotlight should not have too large air holes, so as to prevent mosquitoes from creeping in during use, affecting the lighting effect or causing unnecessary damage.

The light color of high-quality LED line lamps must be the same, and there will be no yellow light or other light colors. If you don't know how to distinguish, I can teach you a little way. Due to the high brightness of the LED line lamp, it is difficult to judge the brightness of the two brands of the same type of lamp under the same conditions by observing and comparing with the method of direct vision, and it is also easy to damage the eyesight of the eyes. Generally, we suggest to cover the light source with a piece of white paper, and then compare it after the light is attenuated by the white paper.
